Great big kites

These are not my kites however, I saw them the other day and just had to put these kite pictures here.

Have been looking at quite a few kite pics, this one is one that appealed to me most.

Unfortunately this one is not my kite. I found it on Flickr - great place to get many pictures of kites and many other things.

Great way to use a kite though. It is still big, bright and beautiful (and lots of fun too).

Saw this unusual kite the other day.

Must admit would love to own one of these. The owners made this fantastic kite at home using fiberglass and rip-stop nylon.

Wow is all that I can say about the quality of these kite photos taken at the Intnl Kite Festival held at Ancol Beach Jakarta.

Enthusiasts from 15 provinces in Indonesia as well as nine different countries, including Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Netherlands, Germany, and Japan, joined the sunny, perfect wind two-day festival.
